Prof. Charles C. Chime is the Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) and Professor of Analytical/Environmental Chemistry at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). A leading voice on environmental remediation, his scholarship focuses on adsorption science, heavy-metal pollution control, water/soil quality monitoring, and sustainable industrial practices. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and leads postgraduate training that emphasizes rigorous methods, ethical research, and impact-driven inquiry. Prof. Chime recently delivered ESUT’s 45th Inaugural Lecture, “Adsorption Revolution: Transforming the Fight Against Heavy Metal Pollution,” underscoring his contributions to practical solutions for Nigeria’s environmental challenges.
